Privacy and cookies

Data we collect

• Personal and contact details (first and last name, Italian tax code or, for non-Italian residents, identity document type and number, date and place of birth, home and pickup address, phone, email)
• Details needed to pay you for the device (IBAN or PayPal email address)
• A copy of your identity document and of the signed transfer form
• Photos and technical information about the device being valued

Purposes and legal basis

We process your data to handle your request for an offer on, and the purchase of, your used device (Art. 6.1.b GDPR — pre-contractual measures and performance of a contract), to arrange pickup or shipping by courier, for the resulting administrative and tax obligations, and to reply to messages about your request.

Who we share data with

Some data is shared with providers who process it on our behalf, only as far as needed for the service you asked for:

• the courier handling the pickup/return (name, address, phone)
• the provider we use to send emails about your request

We do not share your data with third parties for advertising or profiling.

Retention

Your identity document and the signed form are stored in a private storage area, not publicly accessible, available only to authorised staff. Data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and to meet the resulting legal obligations.

Cookies

This site only uses technical cookies essential to its operation (e.g. the authentication session for the reserved area). There are no profiling cookies or third-party analytics/tracking tools.

Your rights

You can ask at any time for access to, correction, deletion or restriction of the processing of your data, as well as data portability, by writing to usato@flashmac.com
